Presenter Information: 

Ms. Walters is a graduate of Valparaiso University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and she is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Ms. Walters has been involved in the Christian Association for Psychological Studies and specializes in incorporating faith into the therapeutic experience if the client desires.

Lisa worked as an outpatient therapist for over five years and she provided clinical supervision for preliminary licensed clinicians and interns. She is experienced in utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Ms. Walters recently transitioned from a Clinical Director to the Director of Growth and Development at an outpatient counseling agency called Pillars of Wellness.
