In order to make sure that client cases of therapists who are leaving are in compliance with insurance, we have created necessary steps to go through when a therapist provides their resignation.
Responsibility to the Client
Clinicians are encouraged to start talking to their clients as soon as they provide their resignation to start discussing termination plans. The therapist leaving should give them the option to be transferred to a new clinician, terminated, or referred out to another agency.
